M.PAIGE

"Hello. Are the skies bluer than the days we’ve left behind?"

DAMAGE TYPE: BLACK IRON

DEVIATION TYPE: Instance: Decal

DANGER LEVEL: Moderate

Sighting

(One of the first sightings of M.PAIGE, taken by the user egghead44.)

1 / 1

0039, or surname M.PAIGE, is a decal with its original sighting date being unknown, but has been seen getting more and more documentations and mentions around February of 2010 to June of 2011 before its quick containment by RDD. M.PAIGE was originally found in the game Sword Fighting Minigames(15) by the user TheGamer101, where its appearance was described to be a decal of a black square bearing a smaller, white square inside of it. M.PAIGE would only exist in one server, and if that specific server would die out and have all its players leave, one of the other server instances would have M.PAIGE appear randomly on a part in the game. Later on in its lifetime on Roblox, M.PAIGE was known to migrate and appear in other games, operating the exact same as it would in previous games.

Interactions with M.PAIGE have always stayed at a minimum for some odd reason. M.PAIGE has been known to be able to communicate via Hint instances, however is known to be very uncommunicative, especially towards RDD agents. However, two recorded interviews with M.PAIGE have been provided in the entry, as these are the only existing interviews M.PAIGE has been willing to let RDD have after numerous attempts at starting many others.

Behavior

M.PAIGE is known to be commonly idle or “offline” in a game, usually just being a plain decal with no other properties whatsoever. Players have been seen usually paying little to no attention while M.PAIGE is in an idle state, as it bears no interesting features to it other than being a mysteriously placed decal.

However, M.PAIGE’s behavior is substantially different when it's “active” in a game, usually able to be differentiated from its idle stage by speaking in hint instances, and an audible, glitchy noise playing constantly. During its active state, players are able to interact and talk with it, although the chances of it becoming active are relatively rare for one to see in-game.

Strangely enough, all players who have interacted with M.PAIGE in its active state have been known to forget the existence and all information relating to M.PAIGE after around a week. M.PAIGE also seems to have lethal capabilities, with both anomalous interests being explained furthermore in the following recording instances.

Story

Hello. Are the skies bluer than the days we’ve left behind?
Maybe the clouds that have flown past are reminders of
the memories we’ve all clearly forgotten.

Do you remember?
Sorry. I know you don’t.
You never will. But hopefully
You can. Eventually.

We don't know what any of this means.

Recording Instance 0001MP | 06/22/2010

The following was the first ever recorded interview with M.PAIGE and an RDD agent. It took 38 previous attempts over a span of five weeks to get this first interview.

Agent: hello?
Agent: is this thing even alive???
[Eight seconds pass with silence.]
M.PAIGE: Hello. Are the skies bluer than the days we’ve left behind?

Agent: OH MY GOd
Agent: IT FINALLY REPSONDDED
Agent: what does that mean?
M.PAIGE: Maybe you’ll remember someday.

Agent was told that M.PAIGE’s speech behavior was observed to be somewhat odd and cryptic. The interview proceeds.

Agent: who or what even are you?
M.PAIGE: A reminder for someone. Always there but I never truly was.

Agent: what are your intentions?
M.PAIGE: The mind is filled with fog.
M.PAIGE: I do not know myself. However, I do remember being there to aid others.
M.PAIGE: However, they never remembered me.

Agent: why are you even here?
M.PAIGE To be remembered and forgiven. It appears many have forgotten, lest even known. But maybe they will.
M.PAIGE We will meet again sometime. Good day.

Agent: wha
Agent: what???
Agent: hello???

M.PAIGE was said to be defunct past that point. End of interview.

Addendum:

A week after this interview with M.PAIGE was conducted, the agent who had interviewed M.PAIGE was said to have never recalled doing an interview, or even knowing who or what M.PAIGE is. When confronting the agent furthermore, they were persistent in saying this is the truth, and that they genuinely cannot remember what M.PAIGE is. Further research is to be conducted on this matter.

Recording Instance 0002MP | 08/06/2010

The following is the second recorded interview with M.PAIGE and egghead44, who had recently became an agent to the company. This interview was recorded inside the game “Roblox Channel One News Studio” by HershyChocolate, moments before the deviation was found to be a hazard and brought into containment by RDD. This time, it has taken 19 previous attempts since the previous recording instance to get this interview.

egghead44: Hello?
egghead44: M.PAIGE?
[Twelve seconds pass with silence.]
M.PAIGE: Hello. Are the skies bluer than the days we’ve left behind?

egghead44: God, finally.
egghead44: Let’s get this over with. Where did you come from?
M.PAIGE: I am a construct of myself.

egghead44: Why can’t anyone remember you after meeting you during your active state?
M.PAIGE: Can anyone hear me?
M.PAIGE: I want to be known.
M.PAIGE: Maybe now you can remember everything I’ve done for you all.

egghead44: What?

Seconds after M.PAIGE said its last comment, the head of the agent was said to burst, followed by any other users within the server also being decapitated. Previous servers that held M.PAIGE at one point would also have their players’ heads explode. Quickly after this incident, M.PAIGE was suppressed and brought into containment at the RDD facility.
May egghead44 and all other casualties rest in peace.

Strangely enough, other users that had no complete relations to M.PAIGE or the games it was in at one point also had their heads blown up. More research is to be done on that matter.

Analysis

From observing the very few interactions and the story from M.PAIGE, there are multiple things to take into account about what we can tell is its “story.” M.PAIGE was an assistant formicated out of nothing that was known to help others in the process of building and coding games, but however, due to some anomalous property of it, all players that interacted with it would later on forget everything relating to M.PAIGE’s existence, causing M.PAIGE to always be forgotten. It's still unknown how it can cause the heads of players to burst open, and why it has come to an idle state before being captured by RDD.

[COMPANY NOTICE]

M.PAIGE, although looking like a quaint, unharmful decal, possesses extremely lethal powers if ever brought to an unwell state. Upon breach, M.PAIGE will place its decal in the middle of a random room in the entire facility, and will periodically send out massive amounts of black iron damage, which will usually be enough to cause the heads of low-levelled employees to burst. Please handle M.PAIGE with extreme responsibility if it is to breach.

M.PAIGE is also hell for the company to contain, since we always need at least one person to remember it and tell everyone else that forgot it what it is.
